Learning Lab

At the Learning Lab, we are committed to actualizing your child’s learning potential. We engage with traditional subjects like science, social studies and language arts through play, experimentation, hypothesis testing and problem-solving. Our methods ensure high engagement with rigorous subjects and aid the child’s cognitive and creative development.
We offer the following programs for all age-groups, modified for their developmental levels.

STEM/ STEAM programs

21st century science expects students to engage deeply with scientific questions and concepts. Our units marry the humanities with sciences to enable holistic learning. We use inquiry-based, thematic units, award-winning books and videos and a variety of resources to ensure your child is a fluid and logical thinker.

Makerspace

Creativity is innate in children across all cultures and backgrounds. Let them loose in any environment and they will figure out a way to turn paper rolls into telescopes, tissue paper into beautiful butterflies and LEGO® bricks into rocket ships. Children learn about the world through play and make-believe. With age appropriate material, carefully selected projects, modelling the creative process, the program ensures self-expression, creativity and play based learning.

Social Studies programs

Whether it is studying leadership or democracy, wars or explorers, our students grapple with learning complex concepts in an accessible way. Our course structures touch on the history, culture, geography and civic nature of societies. Through hands-on activities, excellent non-fiction resources and video, students become global citizens who can converse knowledgeably about multiple subjects.

Literary programs

Our literary programs focus on language development and literacy skills, using poetry and prose, fiction and non-fiction. Our rigorous holistic curriculum enables critical reasoning, comprehension, analysis and evaluation.
